Terms of Service

The agreement between your business and us for using Doozy. Plain where we could make it plain; please read it before you start.

The agreement

These terms are an agreement between FlowRipple, a company based in India (“we”, “us”), and the business that signs up for Doozy (“you”). The person accepting them confirms they have authority to bind that business. They cover askdoozy.com, the web app at app.askdoozy.com and the Doozy app in Slack (together, “the service”).

Our Privacy Policy and AI & Data Use page explain how we handle data and form part of these terms. If you have signed a separate agreement with us, it takes precedence where the two differ.

Your workspace

  • A workspace belongs to the business that created it. Its owners manage billing, members and what Doozy can reach, and are responsible for everyone they let use it.
  • Keep sign-in access to your workspace secure, and tell us promptly if you believe it has been compromised.
  • You must be at least 18 and using the service for business purposes.

Free trial

Each new workspace gets a 14-day free trial, with no card needed. When it ends, Doozy pauses until an owner chooses a plan. Nothing is deleted when it pauses.

Plans and payment

  • Plans are priced per workspace and billed monthly or yearly in advance, at the prices shown on our pricing when you subscribe.
  • Each plan includes a usage allowance for its billing period. When it runs out, Doozy finishes what it is working on and starts nothing new until the allowance resets, you add a usage pack, change plan, or turn on extra usage up to a cap you set. We never charge for usage an owner has not chosen.
  • Payments are handled by Dodo Payments as merchant of record, which collects applicable taxes and issues invoices.
  • Upgrades take effect at once, charged pro rata. Downgrades take effect at the next billing date.
  • You can cancel at any time; your plan runs to the end of the period you have paid for. Except where the law requires otherwise, payments are not refundable.
  • We may change prices with at least 30 days’ notice to owners. A change applies from your next billing period.

Your content

Everything your business puts into the service, and everything Doozy produces for you, is yours. You give us permission to host, process and transmit it only as needed to provide the service to you. We do not use it to train AI models.

You are responsible for having the rights to the content you share with Doozy and to the systems you connect it to.

Working with an AI coworker

Doozy acts on the instructions your team gives it, in the systems you connect it to, within the limits you set. You are responsible for those instructions, and for what you allow it to reach.

Doozy is AI and can make mistakes. Its work can be incomplete or wrong, and it may take an action that does not do what you intended. Review its work before relying on it, and do not use it for decisions that need professional advice or that could cause harm if wrong, such as medical, legal or safety-critical ones.

Acceptable use

You will not use the service, or ask Doozy, to:

  • break the law, or infringe anyone’s rights, including privacy and intellectual property;
  • send spam, or harass, deceive or harm anyone;
  • create malware, attack systems, or access accounts or data without permission;
  • get around the service’s limits or security, or interfere with its operation;
  • resell the service, or use it to build a competing product.

Tools you connect

When you connect Slack, GitHub or another tool, your use of that tool remains under your agreement with its provider. We are not responsible for third-party tools, or for changes to them that affect what Doozy can do.

Confidentiality

Each of us will keep the other’s non-public information confidential and use it only for the purposes of this agreement, except where disclosure is required by law.

Suspension and termination

  • You can stop using the service and cancel at any time.
  • We may suspend or end your access if you materially breach these terms, if your use puts the service or others at risk, or if payment is not made. Where we reasonably can, we will warn you first and give you a chance to put things right.
  • After termination you can ask us to delete your workspace’s data, as set out in the Privacy Policy.

Disclaimers

We work hard to keep Doozy reliable, but the service is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties not stated in these terms, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement, and we do not promise the service will be uninterrupted or error-free.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows:

  • neither of us is liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses, or for lost profits, revenue or data; and
  • each party’s total liability under these terms is limited to the amount you paid us for the service in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.

These limits do not apply to your payment obligations, to a breach of the acceptable use section, or to liability that cannot be limited by law.

Indemnity

You will defend and compensate us against third-party claims arising from your content, your instructions to Doozy, or your breach of these terms.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. For a material change, we will tell owners by email at least 30 days before it takes effect. If you keep using the service after that, the new terms apply.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts of India have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.

General

These terms, with the documents they refer to, are the whole agreement between us about the service. If any part is found unenforceable, the rest still applies. Neither of us may transfer this agreement without the other’s consent, except as part of a merger or sale of the business. Not enforcing a term is not a waiver of it.
